Scotland road trip adventure 🚐

#roadtrips Just finished an incredible road trip across Scotland, and honestly, it’s a must-do if you love wild landscapes and ancient history. We started in Edinburgh, exploring the famous Edinburgh Castle (entry was around £18), then hit the road towards the Highlands. The drive through Glencoe was unreal—towering mountains, misty valleys, and waterfalls at every turn. It felt like driving through a movie set. Our next stop was Loch Ness, hoping for a Nessie sighting (no luck, sadly!). Urquhart Castle, overlooking the loch, was definitely worth the visit (around £12 entry). From there, we ventured further north to Inverness, a lovely town with plenty of cozy cafés and scenic walks along the river. But the real highlight was the Isle of Skye. The Fairy Pools were like stepping into another world, and the views from the Old Man of Storr were unbeatable. Skye’s rugged beauty truly stole my heart. Scotland’s dramatic landscapes, rich history, and friendly locals made this road trip unforgettable.
