Camping at Cape Wrath 🏕️

#campingfun Camping at Cape Wrath in the far northwest of Scotland was one of the most remote and breathtaking experiences I’ve had. It’s truly a wild and rugged spot, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. There’s no official entrance fee to camp here, but getting there is part of the adventure! You need to take a small ferry from Keoldale (about £10 round trip) and then catch a minibus to the lighthouse, where the camping spots are, or hike if you’re feeling adventurous. The isolation is incredible—no shops or facilities nearby, just you, your tent, and nature. The Cape Wrath Lighthouse is a must-see, standing guard over the dramatic cliffs, and the sunsets here are phenomenal. Not far off is Sandwood Bay, one of the most beautiful and untouched beaches in Scotland, which is a perfect day trip for anyone seeking pristine sands and wild beauty.
