Mt. Merapi Sunrise

Waking up at 3:30 am in Yogyakarta, Central Java, to catch the sunrise at the worlds 4th most active volcano Mt. Merapi. You get there by hiring a local Jeep, or walking. We hired a Jeep for 600.000 IDR, and the driver also functioned as a tour guide, which was nice. He took us to three different spots around the volcano. Beautiful nature around the mountain, amazing views and magical sunrise. The huge lava river is from an eruption in 2010, and spands 17 kms!!
