Historic station and park

Hwarangdae is a closed train station that used to be part of Gyeongchun Line. This is now a park that continues the trend in Seoul of transforming former transportation into urban green spaces for everyone to enjoy. The park itself is a lovely green space that is quite informative. There are models of former trains and trams on site. The station itself is colorful and cute and lots of families head there during the weekends. It now houses a museum and is a registered historic relic. It is nice to explore and learn a bit about Seoul's transportation past while seeing this history up close. It's also a comfortable place to simply enjoy nature and the outdoors.
