Located next to Gyeongbokgung Palace in Jongno-gu's Anguk-dong, stands Korea's first-ever public craft art museum The Seoul Museum of Craft Art's location had originally been a venue used as a royal family villa during the Joseon Dynasty, indicating its meaningful and historical significance. Possessing over 20,000 artifacts from traditional and modern craft works and craft materials of various generations and fields, a selection of diverse special exhibitions have been said to currently be underway! The Seoul Museum of Craft Art has connected both tradition and modernity, along with art and living, to enable the sharing and experiencing of the diverse values held within the realm of art & crafts.
