Secret local spot to watch sunset nearby Dongdaemun Design Plaza

Most travelers who come to see Dongdaemun Design Plaza have no idea that just a few minutes walk from there they can find a lovely spot for sunset or just to chill looking at Seoul skyline. It's mostly locals there and the vibe is very cool and relaxed. Walk past Heunginjimun Gates (and surely take a pic!) to Heunginjimun Park and find a spot at one of many benches or right at the wall - sit with locals and enjoy the view!
