Amazing glassblowing experience!

Located in the Baoshan District, Shanghai, Shanghai Museum of Glass covers quite a large area. It consists of a main hall, The Maze, and a contemporary art hall. One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing a live glass-blowing demonstration. As I stood there, mesmerized by the intense heat of the furnace and the skillful movements of the artisans, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The molten glass transformed before my eyes, taking on intricate shapes and vibrant colors. It was a true testament to the craftsmanship and artistry of these talented individuals. But the real magic happened when I had the opportunity to participate in a glass-blowing workshop. Under the guidance of experienced artists, I carefully shaped molten glass, feeling the heat radiate through my hands and the thrill of creating something unique. It was a truly immersive and unforgettable experience that allowed me to connect with the art form on a whole new level. The museum is a bit far out. You may take Metro Line 1 to Tonghe Xincun Station first, and then take bus 726 or 95 to San Zhuanlu. But it's worth it!
