📕【History】 In the eighth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1882), Master Huigen of Putuo Mountain went to Wutai, visited Emei, entered Tibet, went to India, and passed Myanmar after worshipping Buddha. With the sponsorship of local overseas Chinese, he opened the mountain to get jade, carved five jade Buddhas, and invited them back to Putuo Mountain. When passing through Shanghai, he left a seated Buddha and a reclining Buddha, and built a temple in Jiangwan Town for worship, called the Jade Buddha Temple. In the seventh year of the Republic of China (1918), the temple was destroyed by war, so it was rebuilt at the current site, and the new temple was renamed "Jade Buddha Zen Temple". ✨【Highlights】 The two jade Buddhas are naturally the biggest highlights. ❤️【Experience】 🔘Vegetarian noodles: Coming to the temple, eating a bowl of vegetarian noodles is an experience not to be missed. The Pu Xian Temple is a water pen, and the Wen Shu Temple opposite is a brush.
