1933 Old Millfun was originally the Shanghai Municipal Council Slaughterhouse. In 1933, funded by the Municipal Council and designed by the famous British architect Balfours, the overall architecture is in the style of ancient Roman basilicas. It's like a maze here, and it's also a new popular spot for check-ins in Shanghai, and a special place for photo shoots. The walls here are all made of concrete, slightly rough. The walls are very thick, and it's quite cool here. You can choose either ramps or stairs to go from the ground floor to the upper floors. I chose the ramp. The surface of the ramp is very rough, with large grains of stone exposed, and the width of the divisions is super wide. This was originally a cattle path, designed to be rough and uneven to facilitate animal movement and prevent them from slipping.
