⭐️This is the first time I've seen a temple that has won multiple Guinness World Records, and the whole experience can be described as breathtaking! ⭐️As the only Buddhist temple in southern Shanghai, Donglin Temple's history dates back to the Yuan Dynasty in 1308. It has suffered numerous wars and fires over 700 years and has been rebuilt several times, forming the spectacular sight it is today... ⭐️The first thing you see after entering the park is a statue of the Child of Wealth standing above the wishing pool, made of cloisonné material, inlaid with enamel colored materials, polished gold, very exquisite, and is the world's tallest cloisonné statue! ⭐️Donglin Temple has the largest indoor Buddha statue in Asia, standing 34 meters tall, very impressive, and the Guanyin Pavilion that houses the Buddha statue is also very stunning. The doors are over 20 meters high, with thousands of small Buddhas carved on the facade, and many small Buddha statues are also enshrined on both sides, very delicate! The Five-Buddha Crown above the Guanyin Pavilion is equally magnificent, with the Buddha's figure, a crown on his head, in a reclining and standing posture, shimmering with Buddha's charm under the sunlight, visible from afar, and you can also take the elevator to the 7th floor to visit and worship! Donglin Temple is located in Zhujing Town, Jinshan District, quite far from downtown Shanghai, with no direct subway or bus, so it is recommended to drive! ‼️Please note that you should not take pictures of the Buddha statues!
