Hidden in Chongming Island, the private hot spring homestay—A Japanese-style paradise

Yeshan Garden is a homestay I've been longing to visit for several years. Although it has been open for five or six years, it's still quite difficult to book on weekends and holidays. Despite the average surrounding architectural environment, the tranquil and gentle atmosphere of the buildings and courtyard is still pleasantly surprising. 🌸: We stayed in phase one. Although the courtyard of phase two is more artistic, I personally prefer the architectural style of the houses in phase one. 🛎 There are complimentary Daifuku and fruits, not just on the day of check-in, but delivered to the room every evening! 🛎 Each room has a large indoor bath, with a small garden view outside the window. It's big enough for two people to soak together, and the bath salts are from Kao, provided daily. If you like, you can also buy them from the housekeeper, but they are all in bulk. 🛎 Compared to other tatami hotels I've stayed at before, the tatami here is not the very soft kind, and it's especially comfortable for both the elderly and children. 🛎 The rooms have special day and night curtain designs, which are particularly friendly to sensitive people, and really conducive to good sleep! 🌸: A small dining room that can accommodate at most two or three families dining together. 🛎 To avoid crowding, the homestay offers breakfast delivery to the room. 🛎 Lunch and dinner need to be reserved with the housekeeper, including wontons and eel rice. The prices are moderate, and the eel rice tastes good, but personally, I think the Chongming big wontons are even more delicious, highly recommended! 🌸 The stove in the backyard of phase one, and the rabbits in the pet park. 🛎 In winter, there are roasted corn and baked sweet potatoes every night, with a fire going until eight o'clock, self-service, and unlimited! All are particularly tasty! 🛎 There is a pet park and a single-plank bridge among other activities that children love, especially the two rabbits that are very lively and friendly. 🌸 Coming out of the automatic gate of phase one, you face phase two. Phase two has indoor and outdoor tea rooms, as well as a place for copying scriptures, where you can enjoy watching koi fish, and children can also play with Lego in the small gym. 🔍 There is a fenced-off space next to the homestay specifically for parking. When the sound of vehicles is heard, a housekeeper will come out to greet the guests and help with luggage. 🔍 The homestay offers butler service, provided by a quiet and handsome young man. He replies to messages on WeChat super fast, and is gentle with any request.
