The magic city's romantic French-style luxury brand new hotel is the perfect place to debut and show off on social media

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, in 2024 I plan to more deeply practice 'Live the French way', which means to check in at the 'Sofitel Hotels' under the French Accor group more thoroughly.🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷 Formerly known as 'Greenland Jiulong Hotel', the 'Sofitel Shanghai North Bund' is a place I missed the chance to visit years ago. After many years, staying here now, I truly feel that everything is the best arrangement.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel is stunningly beautiful, with an excellent location, paired with the pleasant early summer weather of Shanghai in May, it's just the right time to debut and show off on social media.📸📸📸 The 'Luxury King Room' on the 25th floor where I stayed has enough artistic flair, the welcome gift was very thoughtful, including a tea bag that is a crossover with a certain brand. Guests can enjoy the view of the old town of Shanghai's North Bund through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, and of course, the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower are also in sight.🔭🔭🔭 Guests' breakfast is served on the 5th floor at 'Le Chinois' restaurant. The breakfast highlights quality over quantity, with a noodle station serving local Shanghai spicy pork noodles and Hangzhou's 'Pian Er Chuan', a type of noodle dish. At the entrance of the restaurant, the bread section's 'Kiwi Croissant' and 'Cranberry Croissant' are large in size and explosively delicious, but these two types of croissants do not appear at the same time. I stayed for two nights, so I had the chance to try both.🥐🥐🥐 The most outstanding feature of the hotel is the lobby and the lobby lounge 'Bar Song'. Basking in the warm sunshine, enjoying a set of the passionately 'Symphony of Flavors' afternoon tea at 'Bar Song' is truly delightful and enviable.🎷🎷🎷 The hotel also has the equally high-value 'Hui Yao Ge' Chinese restaurant, but I didn't have the chance to visit due to time constraints. 'Club Millésime' and 'SO SPA' are busily preparing for their debut. Stepping out of the hotel, you reach the '1933 Old Millfun', a national key cultural relics protection unit, which is also the filming location for the movie 'Tiny Times'.🎦🎦🎦 A 15-minute walk from the hotel will take you to the large shopping center 'Shanghai White Magnolia Plaza', which offers more options for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
