Last week, I had the fortune to visit a hidden gem here—the Secluded Wukang Road Mansion. ⛱️A Secret Haven Under the Plane Trees Walking on Wukang Road, the plane trees on both sides guard the street like sentinels, with sunlight filtering through the gaps, casting mottled shadows. Following these shadows, as if traveling through time and space, I arrived at the entrance of the Secluded Wukang Road Mansion. ⛲️The Whisper of History Pushing open the mansion's grand door, a profound sense of history hits you. The mottled old pebbles embedded in the walls seem to tell stories of a century. Ascending the ceremonious steps, you enter a symmetrical open space, where the light from the fireplace and the brass wire-covered lamps intertwine, seemingly whispering tales of the past. 🗺️The Breath of Art Inside the mansion, the essence of art is everywhere, with every detail revealing a pursuit of elegance and taste. The decorative ornaments seem to record the prosperity and changes of Shanghai, inviting one to pause and listen closely. Even breakfast is both delicious and aesthetically pleasing~ 🧩The Flow of Time Rooms named after Shanghai dialects seem to echo with the soft murmurs of the local language. The dark furniture and antique soft furnishings complement each other. The bathroom, while retaining the historical feel of the old house, incorporates a modern style's brightness. The inclusion of old Shanghai's Snowflake Cream among the amenities was a delightful surprise. Hey, there's also the childhood taste of White Rabbit Creamy Candy~ 🍃Parting is for Reunion Sitting in the courtyard or on the terrace, time seems to slow down.
