It is said to be the only hotel in Shanghai with an infinity pool

Located in Qiantan, the Kimpton belongs to the InterContinental Hotels Group's 'luxury boutique brand'. I must say it blends the chic Parisian vibe with the modern Shanghai style. As soon as you enter the lobby, the sofas, fireplaces, etc., are quite eye-catching! The wrought iron spiral staircase in picture 2 and the entire high-ceilinged space are perfect for taking photos📷, modern yet vintage! And it's only open to hotel guests, so it's not crowded! There is only one French restaurant in the hotel, as shown in picture 8, with a terrace garden. The taste is okay, and the ambiance is quite good. I would recommend their bar more; it feels like being back at the Moulin Rouge, very midnight in Paris! Picture 9. Picture 1, of course, is the well-known infinity pool, located on the 9th floor. It's quite beautiful to take photos at sunset! Their suites have a generally dark tone, and the marble fireplace is quite stylish. The bathrobes are designed with a good texture. I must say it's a well-crafted internet-famous hotel. But it always feels a bit lukewarm, maybe due to its location🤷
