Shanghai Longhua Temple Sutra Copying and Meditation Journey

🌈Attraction Features: Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in the Shanghai area, with the Maitreya Hall, the Mahavira Hall, and the Three Saints Hall, among others. The ancient trees inside are towering, and when I visited, it was the peony blooming season. There were art enthusiasts sketching inside. From 9 AM to 3 PM, you can participate in the sutra copying activity, writing half a line of the sutra, which can fulfill great wishes. Sitting together with a thousand people in the incense-filled atmosphere and copying sutras feels like a form of practice . Longhua Temple also offers vegetarian noodles, which taste pretty good . 🎟️Ticket Information: The ticket is ten yuan, and you can get a bundle of incense by scanning the QR code for payment. 🕐️Opening Hours: From 7 AM to 4:30 PM. 💗Other Tips: Longhua Temple also has many Zen food souvenirs. My favorite is the seaweed-flavored twists. When it's inconvenient to visit, you can also buy them online.
