🏙The Bund view suite at Shanghai Edition is my favorite choice for staying at the Bund. The six suites with a ceiling height of four meters are distributed on the 21st to 23rd floors. Among them, the 22nd floor is the best because the 21st floor is not high enough to see the river, and the 23rd floor has part of the 24th floor's bottom plate outside the window, which slightly gives a construction site vibe. 🏙The ceiling height is an advantage that Edition wants to highlight but finds hard to express. The number of these high-ceilinged rooms is limited, and the sense of space is difficult to convey through two-dimensional materials. The actual feeling of staying is about 1.5 times the impression given by the promotional photos. What I can say is that its decoration and furniture quality are excellent. The arrangement in the suite is indeed not much, but everything displayed has been carefully considered and is of high quality. Its highly controversial minimalist style decoration is actually a huge advantage in this suite, as all the designs make way for the breathtaking view and the sense of ample space. 🏙As I mentioned in the previous preview, the reason why Edition is highly controversial is precisely because of its boutique lifestyle minimalist style orientation. Many travelers are puzzled when staying in rooms below the fashion room: How? Since its planning, Edition has been very confident, aiming to become a benchmark city resort hotel. Multiple restaurants & bars have appeared one after another, the rooms have directly abandoned the cloakroom and luggage room, and significantly reduced storage space & home decorations. In Edition's initial conception, the hotel would receive travelers from local or nearby areas traveling light with its diverse dining options and Edition's unique social spaces. After all, the Bund riverbank is right in front of you, and the advantage is mine. 🏙It should be said that Edition has accurately grasped the traffic code. Model-like internet celebrity photos and negative reviews have poured in like rain. I believe the hotel is clearly aware that it may have a slight deviation in its customer group positioning and immediately started to make up for it. Edition has contributed to maintaining a top three breakfast in Shanghai, and has now updated a guest lounge similar to Andaz, and successfully maintained the high-level output of its Cantonese restaurant (here I criticize the Bund WA by name, and my next article will criticize you).
