A beautiful and less crowded Jinze Ancient Town || Yesterday, I checked in at Jinze Ancient Town in the suburbs of Shanghai. Jinze Ancient Town originated in the Song Dynasty and flourished in the Yuan Dynasty, with a history of more than 1300 years. It originally had 'six temples, one pagoda, thirteen workshops, and forty-two rainbow bridges'. There is a saying, 'Every temple has a bridge, and every bridge has a temple', which is why it is known as the 'Hometown of Bridges'. The Wanan Ancient Bridge was built during the Jingding period of the Southern Song Dynasty, with a history of more than 700 years. The Puqing Bridge in picture 14 was originally an ancient bridge depicted in Zhang Zeduan's 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' from the Northern Song Dynasty. The existing bridge was replicated in 1999 based on historical records.
