I visited this exhibition while waiting in line and found that I really liked it! 🌟[Companionship: Coexistence]—Chen Qi and Kobayashi Keisei Double Solo Exhibition 📍Location: China Art Museum (Shanghai Art Museum) As one of the brand projects of the "Sea View" series of the China Art Museum (Shanghai Art Museum), this exhibition invites Chinese print artist Chen Qi and Japanese print artist Kobayashi Keisei, two artists with considerable fame and influence in the international print industry, to conduct a dialogue, exchange, and mutual learning of print art in the form of a double solo exhibition. 🧑‍🎨Chen Qi, known as the "master of watermark woodcut", his exquisite carving skills make his watermark woodcut prints look like ink paintings. 🧑‍🎨Kobayashi Keisei, his meticulous woodcut works are known as "palm gems", creating a space full of vitality and visual tension. 🌟The exhibition "Coexistence" uses "and" and "co-" as the theme words, emphasizing the concept of "cooperation" and "facing together". The works on display span from the early creations of the 1970s to the latest masterpieces completed in August 2024, totaling more than 100 pieces (sets). It includes Chen Qi's watermark woodcut works, large-scale installation works, paper ink works, as well as Kobayashi Keisei's woodcut works and poetry and painting collection works.
