| Blooming World, Shanghai Legend. Seagull Lijing Hotel is located on the Huangpu River, next to the Russian Federation Consulate. The predecessor was the Shanghai International Seamen's Club (Seagull Hotel). It has the best view of the Bund and Pudong skyline in Shanghai. As the global flagship that Lijing brand wants to create, this beautiful and newly born quiet mansion gives me great expectations. The online reviews are mixed, and in the end, I came to check in the Seagull Suite with the Bund and Pearl View. After passing a group of historical buildings, I entered the gate of Lijing Hotel. There is no doorman at the door to help with luggage. The public area has a strong sense of design. In the center of the lobby is a crystal mosaic art installation, one side is a spiral staircase and piano, and the other side is a magnolia petal-shaped reception desk. The public area uses a lot of mirrors and light reflections, and at the same time hangs many art paintings, such as Jin Yucheng's work "Blooming". Some details such as the dark patterns on the wall contain the old Shanghai style, conveying the theme of "Blooming World, Shanghai Legend". The overall is somewhat fragmented, but it has the texture of a luxury hotel. The gym and swimming pool are located next to the aisle leading to the guest room elevator on the first floor, and you will smell the swimming pool when you pass by. The room design mostly uses mirrors, blinds and asymmetrical designs to create a style of urban garden. The overall layout of the room is open. The bedroom, living room and bathroom can directly see the Bund or Pudong skyline, and the eyes are picturesque. The balcony area is not large, about 2-3 square meters, but it has a wide-angle river view. When night falls, the long history of the Bund echoes the brilliant Pudong skyline, and the dazzling Oriental Pearl is set against it, you can feel the collision of historical heritage and modern prosperity. But the room is indeed a private place away from the outside hustle and bustle. It can be described as looking at the bustling eyes and enjoying a quiet room. The hotel supplies are selected from the Perlicon series. The free mini bar drinks are rich and carefully selected. The hotel breakfast is located in the Embroidery Restaurant. It is a single point + buffet mode, the product is good, and the special juice is impressive. You can choose to dine at the terrace facing the Oriental Pearl. Dinner chose Jinlin Chinese Restaurant. The chef is Master Ding from Langting Tangge in Hong Kong. Every dish is amazing. My friends and I unanimously believe that it has reached the top level of Shanghai Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant service is very enthusiastic, warm and efficient. After the meal, Master Ding also exchanged views on the meal with us. The restaurant decoration uses black marble with blooming elements to create a private and exquisite environment. I give this restaurant a high rating and will be my frequent visitor to Shanghai. Before leaving, the hotel contacted in advance to inquire about the next destination and arranged for a vehicle to be sent. The shuttle bus is a Lotus electric car. Throughout the process, you can feel the high standard of service. Seagull Lijing has met my expectations for this brand. The absence of the doorman was compensated in the subsequent front desk, restaurant and concierge services. Although this work of CCD has many flaws, it also reflects the artistic style of absorbing traditional elements and modern aesthetics. After the high price of opening, the suite of this hotel is worth a try.
