Shanghai Greenhouse Garden is the largest glass greenhouse garden in Asia. It features three themed pavilions: the Desert Pavilion, the Rainforest Pavilion, and the Cloud Pavilion. The three themed pavilions are classified and arranged according to the ecological environment of the plants. Combined with the spatial characteristics of the building, typical segments of the world's ecosystems are carefully selected to create three completely different environmental types: tropical arid, tropical wet shade-tolerant, and tropical wet sun-loving. These environments are used to display tropical arid plants, tropical rainforest plants, and tropical flowering plants, respectively. Shanghai Greenhouse Garden is located on the site of the former Shanghai No. 3 Steel Plant, so the exterior design retains the steel structure of the old factory building.
