Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel

Recently, I took my little one to Shanghai for a trip, and today I want to share with you the amazing family-friendly hotel we stayed at - Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel. I believe many of you have had the same dilemma: you want to take your kids out for a relaxing trip, but you're worried about finding a place that's both fun and enjoyable for them. Don't worry, this hotel experience will definitely surprise you! First, let's talk about the hotel's design. It's like bringing the underwater world to land! From the moment you step into the lobby, you'll be amazed by a giant colorful killer whale model, swaying its tail as if it's about to swim into the depths of the ocean. The entire space is filled with ocean elements, even the pillars are designed like seashells, and when you look up, the ceiling is adorned with sparkling stars, making you feel like you're in a dreamy underwater kingdom. As for the room, I chose the ocean-themed family suite, which is super cute. The headboard is decorated with various cartoon marine creatures, and even the pillows are shaped like little fish. My little one was so excited when we entered the room, exclaiming that they wanted to sleep with their "new friends." The room also provides children's toiletries, slippers, and even a small bathrobe. The attention to detail is impressive! Next, I have to mention the rich entertainment facilities here. Although the hotel itself doesn't have many amusement facilities, it's right next to Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park! During our stay, we enjoyed the privilege of a fast-track entrance, saving us the time of waiting in line, which was very convenient. In the park, you can not only watch the clever dolphin performances but also observe the adorable penguin babies up close. The most exciting part for the kids was being able to touch some gentle little starfish! Finally, let's talk about the surrounding environment. The hotel is in a great location, with beautiful places like Dishui Lake nearby, perfect for a post-meal walk or a morning run. Not far away, there's also the Time and Space Cable Car, where you can overlook the entire Lingang area with a wide view. Additionally, if you're flying in, it's not far from Pudong International Airport, making transportation very convenient.
