Zhabei Park is a Shanghai gem!

Zhabei Park is a super underated park in the heart of Shanghai. Easy to cycle to and wonderful to explore on any given day - this park has it all. there a plenty of lovely benches to sit on amongst the trees and watch fellow park goers stroll without a care in the world. There are nice ponds scattered throughout the park with varied trees, bamboo, oak and some nice evergreens to keep some life in the winter months. Nice little bridges and of course space for dancing and stretching! Nice to hunker down here with a book and chill for an afternoon - it’s quiet and you can hear birdsong throughout the park! Plenty of snacks within reach of the park to bring in too!
