As the spring is already here, it's time for some outdoor brunch. I'm always addicted to the Latin cuisine, and mostly it was over dinner which will ultimately end up in lot of drinking & dancing šŸ˜! But this time, we decided to taste the Latin cuisine when we're in clear state of mind on a fresh morning. Situated in the Hengshan road quite near from the Hengshan road metro station, Colca has an amazing patio seating. On a sunny day, it'll always be crowded for the brunch than dinner; and so, you can feel the buzz this restaurant has created. We ordered a beef soup, pomegranate juice and some spaghetti at the end. The price is reasonable and the tasty dishes make it much worthy. The dayā€™s sunshine šŸŒ¤ļø was the perfect complement to a delicious brunch. Here are some must-try dishes: šŸ³ Eggs Benedict with Smoked Beef Brisket -- This is a Liquid Laundry signature dish and a staple of American brunch. The brisket was tender and moist with just the right amount of flavor. This dish is only available on the weekend. šŸ„ž Lox Potato Pancake -- At first you might wonder if they forgot the pancake, which comes hidden under a sizable portion of delicious lox topped with pickle garnish, an egg, and dollop of caviar. The potato pancake struck the right balance between crunchy outside and tender inside. This dish is also only available on the weekend. šŸ„— Fancy Nicoise Salad -- The salad is a mix of greens and other vegetables and served with seared tuna in a lemon tarragon-Dijon dressing. Personally the searing on the tuna was a bit overdone. The taste is refreshing, but watch out if you donā€™t like a lot of dressing. šŸ“ Strawberry Waffle -- Another Liquid Laundry signature dish, this was a sweet sweet ending to a good meal. The waffle was crisp and tender, and the strawberries were fresh. Itā€™s a good choice for dessert. šŸø Service -- The menu design is rather iconic with an old-timey washboard on the back.
