Food lover diary 2: Peru-Mediterranean

Colca is a very nice place to visit for a romantic dinner or just to chill with friends. There is a particular mix of flavors very relatable to Peruvian cuisine, yet many dishes have that Mediterranean-related cuisine. Ambience is fancy, yet calming. Food is very tasty. Peruvian food is worldly known for its seafood gastronomy. The ceviches has a unexpected presentation, yet flavor was the one we came seeking for. Nice surprise (for me at least) to find roasted corn snack in our ceviche. Although not authentic, reminded me of my Costa Rican childhood and our ‘caldosas’. Fresh, warm bread was offered on the house. Very nice touch.
