🌞 Summer is almost over. ☀️ Hurry up and catch the last days of summer with a spontaneous trip. A weekend is just enough time to visit Jinsi Gorge for two days. The trip is really fun and great. 📝 Itinerary Xi'an > Dihua Ancient Town > Jinsi Gorge Town > Jinsi Grand Canyon > Xi'an 🚗 Transportation It takes about 3 hours to get there from Xi'an. We left the Conservatory of Music at 7 am. Make sure to eat breakfast or you might get carsick. We joined a two-day tour for convenience. There are some small attractions on the first day, and Jinsi Gorge on the second day. 📝 Itinerary Dihua Ancient Town Scenic Area features two streets (Songjin Street and Qingfeng Street), one museum (Pingwa Literature Museum), one lotus pond (Ecological Lotus Pond), and the Western Flower City. It has restored old attractions such as Dihua Ancient Post, Kuixing Tower, and Faxing Temple, and created new attractions that integrate history, culture, and ecology, highlighting the "Dihua" features of the Shangyu Ancient Road. You can pay to watch a historical epic, Dihua Past (RMB 80/person, optional), and travel through thousands of years of history to experience the charm of culture. Take a bus to Jinsi Gorge Town and experience the Jinsi Gorge Danjiang River Rafting, which is 13.8 km long from north to south and passes through eight dangerous bays. The rafting takes 1.5 hours in total. Ride a rubber boat down the river, surrounded by high skies, long rivers, bright sunshine, and green mountains. As you drift along, you will feel a sense of anticipation, excitement, thrill, and a fight with nature, and a sense of relief after the thrill. Go to the Jinsi Grand Canyon, a national 5A scenic area (about 4.5 hours): Visit Bailong Gorge, Heilong Gorge, Qinglong Gorge, and Shiyan Village. You can see attractions such as Stone Tree, Maid Offering Melon, Horse Spring, Prince Stone, Water Curtain Cave, Golden Lion Cave, Emerald Waterfall, Dragon Lock Waterfall, and Nantian Gate. ❗️ Personal experience V There are many steps in Jinsi Gorge Scenic Area. You need to climb stairs to go up and down the mountain, so it requires a lot of physical strength. V There are many mosquitoes in the mountains, so you need to spray mosquito repellent to avoid mosquito bites. V There are many places with water on the mountain roads, where you can play in the river, but be careful. The scenic area is generally average. It's definitely fine if you want to go into the mountains and play in the water, but don't have too high expectations.
