Hello Shangri-La--Experience of staying at Deqin Moonlight City Indigo 💫Shangri-La, also translated as Xiangbala, means 'the sun and moon in the heart' in Tibetan, symbolizing a beautiful and ideal lifestyle. For me personally, Shangri-La in my heart is more like a travel pursuit, setting foot on different lands, seeing different beautiful scenery, and experiencing different local customs. This time I finally had the opportunity to set foot in Shangri-La during my trip to Yunnan, chasing the 'Shangri-La' in my heart. 🚃Transportation: The hotel is located on the hillside outside the Dukezong Ancient City, about 1 kilometer away. This distance is easy to walk in the plain area, but it's not very friendly for friends with altitude sickness in this plateau area. Therefore, it is more suitable for self-driving travel, you can drive to the ancient city, and parking in the surrounding parking lots is very convenient. 🕍Room facilities: I booked the cheapest basic room, and the front desk upgraded me to the ancient city view room for free when I checked in, which must be praised. The room's color matching is very bold, which should be more suitable for young people's aesthetics. The room facilities are very new, equipped with oxygen machines and floor heating as standard, and the window directly faces the Dukezong Ancient City. The only drawback is that the room is slightly small. 🏨Hotel landscape: The hotel is located on the hillside, and its unique geographical location advantage can overlook the entire Dukezong Ancient City, with an unbeatable view. Especially the large floor-to-ceiling window view of the ancient city in the restaurant, sitting down for a meal and having a coffee, the view is simply amazing. 🥘Food: The breakfast variety is not particularly large, but a Tibetan area has been opened, with various Tibetan snacks, which is quite good for friends who have never been to Tibet. Afternoon tea can be group purchased, which is very cost-effective, and it's worth it just for this view. Surrounding attractions: Dukezong Ancient City is 1 kilometer away and can be reached on foot. Experience the largest prayer wheel and have a Tibetan afternoon tea. Go to the Songzanlin Temple, known as the Little Potala Palace, to experience Tibetan culture, and it's a bit far to go to Napahai and Pudacuo, so it's more convenient to drive. PS: Don't ride a horse in Napahai, don't ride a horse, don't ride a horse! 👩‍💼Service: Superb service, proactive luggage assistance, free room upgrade, extremely fast response to requests made during the stay, and the front desk is also very enthusiastic. There is absolutely no problem with the service. I heard that this Indigo is one of the top three hotels in Shangri-La before booking this hotel. It did not deceive me.
