Shangri-La: A Journey of Sun and Moon in My Heart

I've always heard that Shangri-La is the closest place to heaven. Finally, I set foot on this long-awaited land. 🔔 1️⃣ The Journey Begins In the morning, our driver picked us up, and we were awestruck by the snow-capped mountains 🏔 along the way. The mountains glistened in the sunlight, resembling a sacred pyramid. As far as the eye could see, the endless mountain ranges, blue sky ☁, and white clouds made us marvel at the greatness and wonder of nature. This made me even more excited to reach Shangri-La 😄😄. 2️⃣ Entering Dukezong Ancient Town Upon arriving in Shangri-La, Dukezong Ancient Town greeted me like an old man with a long history, standing quietly. 🙏 Stepping into the ancient town, the old stone-paved streets beneath my feet, and the traditional Tibetan buildings on both sides, with their exquisite wood carvings and colorful paintings, were dazzling. 😄 The prayer wheel in the center of the town was particularly magnificent. 🙏 Together with other tourists, we turned it with reverence, and at that moment, it felt as if our bodies and minds were purified. (A sacred place for making wishes) 3️⃣ Poetic Time at Napa Lake We also visited Napa Lake. The grasslands of Napa Lake have different appearances in different seasons. When I went, part of the grassland was already submerged, forming a unique lake landscape. Herds of yaks 🦬 and horses 🐎 grazed and strolled leisurely on the grassland, being the true owners of this land. I rode a horse along the lakeside, the water was crystal clear, reflecting the sky and mountains, like a poem or a painting. In the distance, the smoke rising from the tents of the Tibetan people added a touch of life to this serene scene. 4️⃣ The Taste of Shangri-La In Shangri-La, the food is not to be missed 😋😋😋. The top choice is yak meat 🦬 hotpot. The tender yak meat is perfectly stewed in the rich broth, melting in your mouth, and the unique aroma lingers on the tongue, making you crave more. 👍 There's also Tibetan butter tea. It might be an acquired taste at first, but after a few sips, you can appreciate its richness and aroma. In the cold weather, a bowl of butter tea warms you up. 🍵 The barley cakes also have a unique flavor, with the fragrance of barley and a crispy texture, making them the perfect match for butter tea. (At first, it might be a bit unusual, but soon you can't get enough of it~) ⚠ Tips: 1: The temperature difference is very large, and it is especially cold when it snows ❄, so keep warm. 2: Do not take altitude sickness lightly, avoid strenuous activities. 3: Prayer wheels and prayer beads should not be turned in the opposite direction. 4: Respect different religious beliefs, do not discuss loudly. 5: Do not receive a khata with one hand.
