Yao Jianwei Visual Art Museum

Yao Jianwei was born in Yixing, Jiangsu in 1966. He graduated from the Art Department of Jiangsu Ceramic School in 1986 and from the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (now the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University) in 1992. He is currently a researcher and professor at Tsinghua University, a member of the China Artists Association, deputy director of the Art Industry Research Committee of the China Literature and Art Critics Association, a review committee member of the National Art Fund, a cooperative artist of the Carl Milles Art Museum in Sweden, and has been nominated for the Top Ten Outstanding Youths in the Chinese Design Industry, the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China, the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China, the Montan Bell Art Award in the United States, the Grand Prize for Painting at the 11th Florence Contemporary Art Exhibition in Italy, the Asian Art Golden Feather Award in Japan, the Paris Art Salon Award in France, and other international awards, the Italian Literature and Visual Art Award, and has participated in many important exhibitions at home and abroad, such as the University of California, the Kremlin in Russia, the Venice Biennale, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, France, Spain, and the National Art Museum of China. Yao Jianwei Visual Art Museum is a modern art exhibition venue integrating culture, art, education, and communication. The museum displays nearly 100 design logos and more than 60 design works. It is a part of the design cases created by Professor Yao Jianwei over the past 30 years based on the Tsinghua University industry-university-research platform, including logo, national important meetings and city image design, well-known enterprises and cultural and creative product design, and other series.
