Time: 9:00-16:30 Overview: The Shenyang Museum has a building area of about 22,000 square meters, divided into three floors with nine exhibition halls and one cultural and creative coffee shop. The first floor is dedicated to the Qing culture theme exhibition, featuring two special exhibitions from the Shenyang Imperial Palace, 'Splendid Treasures of the Imperial Garden - Shenyang Imperial Palace Collection of Qing Dynasty Enamel Ware' and 'Exquisite Craftsmanship - Shenyang Imperial Palace Collection of Qing Dynasty Court Furniture', focusing on the magnificent and opulent treasures of the Shengjing Imperial Court. The second floor hosts the 'Shenyang History Exhibition', divided into three exhibition halls: the Origins of Shenyang, Shengjing under Heavenly Favor, and Modern Times. The third floor has two exhibition halls, 'Brilliance·Integration - A Collection of Fine Works from Museums in the Liao River Basin' and 'Worldly Life Warms the Heart - Shenyang Museum Collection of Ming and Qing Dynasty Folk Kiln Blue and White Porcelain'. The Shenyang Museum also features digital halls, a family education center (which was not open when I visited on April 4), and a cultural and creative shop among other distinctive service facilities.
