'Valkyrie Miss Dior' (VALKYRIE MISS DIOR) is a large-scale installation art piece for the Dior 2023 Fall-Winter Ready-to-Wear collection runway show. It is a collaborative creation by Dior's womenswear creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri and Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos. The work presents a naturally formed shape that organically corresponds with the architectural structure. It displays a spectacular form of freedom, paying tribute to the bold and innovative spirit through a feminine temperament and feminist perspective. The entire exhibition is incredibly dreamy, as if falling into Alice's Wonderland or the planet of Avatar, consisting of blue floral islands made of fabric, lace, embroidery, and crochet.
