|by Shangri-La. A young, free-style hotel under the Shangri-La brand, after experiencing it, I personally feel it's a low-end version of W, similar to Indigo, let me elaborate. Upon arrival, we proceeded with check-in. A friend dropped us off, and the car wanted to temporarily stop at the entrance to chat with us in the room. The staff at the door had a bad attitude and said that the car could not stop there and must be parked downstairs. I can understand the request not to park the car upstairs, but there was no need for such an attitude. After entering the lobby and looking around on our own, we found the front desk. When we approached, the staff didn't even lift their heads, they were busy with their heads down, and I had to ask if we could check in here. This gave me a bad first impression. Aside from the above, I personally really like the layout of the room. We booked a room with a view of the Ferris wheel and the sea. When you open the door, you don't see the bed right away; the luggage stand is also very spacious, enough to lay out our one medium and one small suitcase; there is a wall-mounted direct drinking water machine for hot water, which is quite convenient except for the occasional malfunction (or maybe I didn't figure it out); the room has a large row of sofa seats for taking photos (picture 7), with the Ferris wheel in the background, very photogenic; looking down, you can also see the hotel's indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which are also very beautiful. I specifically went downstairs to check out the public area. The gym is huge, equipped with personal trainers, and feels like it's outsourced to a brand (not sure); in addition, there is a shared office space and meeting rooms in the public area, and there is a craft beer bar on the first floor. Lastly, I want to specifically praise the cleaning lady who came to clean. I accidentally stained the bedsheet during my period, and when I encountered her cleaning, I told her about it. She said it was okay, it could be washed off, and that periods are normal and understandable. It was really heartwarming to hear such words, and I am very grateful to her~ The Kerry Centre around the hotel is still under construction, and the nearest commercial area requires a walk of more than ten minutes. Overall, the experience was good (big points for the cleaning lady!)
