Shenzhen Nanshan Shangri-La: A Lingnan Mansion in the Clouds, the Hotel with the Highest Aesthetic

Shenzhen Nanshan Shangri-La is a newly opened hotel in Shenzhen, with a very high aesthetic that is very appealing. So, I specifically went to check in and experience it for two days. The overall design of the hotel is completely different from other Shangri-La hotels, and it indeed has an outstanding appearance. It creates a style of Lingnan courtyard and Xiguan mansion, seamlessly integrating Chinese classical culture with modern design and Lingnan charm, from the drop-off area to the welcoming lobby and then to the reception lobby, in the order of pavilion, bridge, courtyard, and pavilion. The ultra-high classical Chinese-style sliding doors are elegant and grand, exquisite and beautiful. Many of the space lines use curved designs, which are soft and varied, from the sky curve of the first-floor lobby corridor to the elevator area and then to the lobby bar on the 66th floor. This is based on the curved structure of the Lingnan architecture "Wok Ear House", bringing out the feeling of a Lingnan courtyard mansion. ⭐️Environment Starting from the drop-off area, through the carved gate, the surrounding walls are all vertical gardens and hanging green plants, creating a very good courtyard atmosphere. On the 66th floor, this feeling becomes even stronger, with the art of the windows and doors of the Xiguan mansion, the beauty of the carved beams and painted rafters of Lingnan architecture, and the characteristic gable shape of traditional residential Wok Ear Houses, all embodied in the interior design and custom furniture details. The entire lobby bar has created a deep courtyard-like Cantonese garden at a height of 100 meters, with beautiful curtains and plant decorations, making it feel like walking into someone's grand living room. I personally really like it. ⭐️Guest Rooms The design of the rooms is also fresh and natural, elegant and comfortable, and I really like the color scheme. The view is also very good. The east side can see the Window of the World; the west side rooms can see the sunset over the sea; the south side has a sea view, and the north side overlooks the wetland park, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of Shenzhen Bay. The room facilities consider all the details, and the bedside table has many functions, making it very convenient to use. ⭐️Transportation The hotel is located in the Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base, south of the Shenzhen Bay coastal belt, north of the Overseas Chinese Town Inner Lake Wetland, and west of the Shahe Golf Course. Downstairs are the intersections of lines 11, 9, and 8, making travel very convenient. ⭐️Restaurant This Shangri-La has several specialty restaurants. The all-day dining restaurant Ji·66 on the 66th floor also adopts the design of Lingnan garden winding paths and lush greenery, creating a secret garden full of delicacies. The breakfast and buffet dinner here are really good, among the best in buffets. The Chinese restaurant Summer Palace is also beautifully designed, with a red and black main color scheme that looks very artistic. ⭐️Check-in Spots A high-aesthetic hotel is definitely good for taking photos. Every afternoon, trendsetters come to check in at the 66th-floor lobby. After these two days of experience, I have summarized a few good photo spots. 1: Guest rooms, with good views and fresh tones, suitable for taking fresh and vacation-style photos. 2: The entrance of the buffet restaurant, where there is a beautiful chair and an artistic flower tree display, has become a check-in spot where many people come to take photos. 3: The bar counter in the lobby bar, with beautiful colors and unique decorative design, is great for taking photos. 4: The main lobby, with beautiful curtains and exquisite small scenes, is also great for taking photos. 5: The public area on the first floor, with high aesthetics, beautiful green plants, and lines, and a glass flower house, which is also a popular check-in spot. 6: The swimming pool on the 77th floor, probably the highest swimming pool in Shenzhen, with a large moon art installation that lights up at night, making it super beautiful. 7: The spiral staircase in the Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor, with high aesthetics and great for taking photos.
