On a Saturday morning in October, we visited Shenzhen Dongshan Temple.

The morning sunlight filtered through the treetops, casting a mysterious glow on the ancient buildings of Shenzhen Dongshan Temple. This serene temple is an ideal place for meditation. My family and I came here on a Saturday in October to pay our respects and explore. As soon as we entered the temple, the solemn and compassionate Buddha statues inspired awe. Visitors quietly admired the exquisite carvings and murals, feeling the weight of history. In the courtyard of Dongshan Temple, we strolled along the stone paths, surrounded by lush greenery, birdsong, and the fragrance of flowers, which uplifted our spirits. The environment here is perfect for sitting in meditation, allowing one to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a moment of tranquility. After a morning of exploration, our minds were cleansed, and our bodies relaxed.
