Yunnan 1 - Stone Forest Scenic Area

The Stone Forest Scenic Area in Kunming, also known as Yunnan Stone Forest, is located in the Shilin Yi Autonomous County of Kunming. I took a bus from the Kunming East Bus Station to the Stone Forest Scenic Area. The stone forest here stands upright and abrupt, with smooth lines and a faint bluish-gray color. The tallest independent rock pillar exceeds 40 meters in height. There are attractions such as 'Lotus Peak,' 'Sword Peak Pool,' 'Deep Orchid Valley,' 'Phoenix Combing Wings,' and the 'Stone Forest Wonderland' where Long Yun inscribed the words 'Stone Forest.' Climbing the 'Peak Viewing Pavilion,' one can enjoy the 'Sea of Forests.' Wandering in the stone forest, one is dazzled and overwhelmed by the beauty, exclaiming that the trip is well worth it!
