Tokyo’s most popular eating street in Shinjuku 🍱🍢🍡
Tokyo, Japan us know for amazing night life, buzzing city street & bright lights on modern sky scrapers.
📍 Omoide Yokocho, a popular tourist spot, is a maze of narrow alleyways on the West Exit of Shinjuku Station. It has a unique atmosphere, which is in stark contrast to modern Shinjuku.
Also known as Memory Lane, Omoide Yokocho is has packed with Japanese historic eateries and buzzing with energy. Eating at skewers at small stalls or indulge in Japanese cuisine while hanging out with family & friends at alley way is definitely a different experience.
Do expect crowded especially during tourist seasons & dinner time.

I ain’t a stoner, but give me a Tokyo
My final stop on our tour of Japan - Tokyo. Such a fascinating city. You could easily fill your time simply walking through the different districts just taking in all the sights and sounds. We went to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, which was a beautiful juxtaposition to the cityscape around it. We also went up to the observation deck at the top of the government building for a view across the city. It is amazing how the city seems to stretch endlessly in every direction. We finished with the Old town, and then over to Shibuya crossing (the biggest in the world) when it got dark. Of course, Tokyo becomes another beast when lit up at night. A really cool city, and we only scratched the surface

MUST TRY IN TOKYO ‼️ best kaitenzushi 🍣
as much as I'd love to keep this to myself, good things gotta be shared, right. If you're craving some top-notch, yet wallet-friendly sashimi, you gotta check out this place. Took my sashimi-skeptical family there, and they were amazeD by how fresh it was! Gotta to queue for 30ish minutes (depending on the crowd) but trust me, it's totally worth it 🤤🙂↔️ Plus, it is conveniently located in Shinjuku area!!!

SHINJUKU trip
The best time to spend in Shinjuku is at night. It's a great place to enjoy a nightlife, but it's important to take a closer look at the store's reviews because some stores raise prices just because they don't understand Japanese. If you don't like the atmosphere after entering, talk to the staff before leaving.

【Shinjuku】Crowded Even on Weekdays! A Popular Seafood Izakaya.
I went there around 19:00 on a weekday, and it was so popular that customers kept coming in non-stop.
The restaurant has four table seats in front, counter seats beside them, and more table seats in the back, making it a larger place than it first appears.

The Almost Crab Salad seemed to have radish in it? It had a crunchy texture and was delicious.
The Shrimp and Crab Battle is also a favorite.
You can enjoy sushi with plenty of toppings.
The Ultimate Yukhoe and Sea Urchin Ikura Mille-Feuille is also recommended.
It's a plus that there are many menus with a generous amount of ikura, even though they are small.

A Quintessential Izakaya in Shinjuku
A relatively new izakaya located in Shinjuku.
I used the 4500 yen course.
• Edamame
• Assorted sashimi
• Beef tongue salad
• Beef tongue karaage
• Beef tongue tsukune
• Beef tongue smothered in green onions
• Salmon and ikura rice
• Dessert
Most of the staff are foreigners. When the food is served, you might need to be aware of what you ordered since they may not understand when asked, 'What is this?'.
The beef tongue karaage was delicious. The seasoned rice was rich in flavor, perfect for drinkers.
The drinks came incredibly fast! From the first drink to the last, it was unbelievably quick!
However, the highballs and shochu mixers were too diluted, so I switched to sake midway.
