Angkor Wat, hailed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, truly deserves this praise. After watching 'The Beauty of Angkor' on the plane, I had a preliminary impression. When I arrived at the moat of Angkor Wat, the scenes I had seen on my phone vividly appeared before my eyes. The entire Angkor Wat complex is vast, with over fifty temples scattered across Siem Reap, not all in one area. From the early days of Angkor Wat to its peak, the temple sites are spread out across the city. There are tickets for 1 day ($32), 3 days ($62), and 7 days ($72). We chose the 3-day ticket to cover most of the important temples. » Traditional tour routes: Small Circuit, Grand Circuit, Outer Circuit, which can be arranged according to your schedule. We rented a motorcycle in Siem Reap, so we didn't follow the traditional route but instead picked the temples we liked and traveled according to the light and temperature. On the first day, we visited Angkor Wat, also known as Little Angkor Wat, the most magnificent part of the complex, with exquisite corridors and lifelike reliefs. The steps to the top are steep and require caution, and the ubiquitous Siamese culture leaves a lasting impression. There are also many temples surrounded by giant trees. Seeds that fell into the cracks of stones hundreds of years ago have grown into towering trees over the centuries, blending nature and temples into one. 'Tomb Raider' was filmed here. Walking among these moss-covered temples, every corner tells a story, making me take many unique photos. We wandered through the millennia-old ruins, learning about their wisdom and culture. It made me marvel that while time may pass, civilization endures. Human wisdom transcends time and space, going further than we can imagine.
