The Angkor Wat complex, located about 310 km northwest of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is the site of the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. The main existing ruins include Angkor Wat (Angkor Thom) and Angkor Wat (Angkor Wat). The two main features of the Angkor Wat ruins are the stone construction and exquisite bas-relief art. The Angkor Wat ruins were built in 802 AD and took more than 400 years to complete. There are more than 600 buildings of various sizes, distributed in a jungle of about 45 square kilometers. During the 300-year period of large-scale construction of Angkor Wat, many changes in architectural art style can be seen. The religious content reflected has changed from the worship of Shiva and Vishnu in Hinduism to the worship of Guanyin Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism. Angkor Wat is one of the "Four Wonders of the East" along with the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal in India, and the Borobudur in Indonesia.
