The God and Goddess Mountain

This is a must see location, even if you are not a history lover. Just the experience itself, of waking up early in the morning to catch the sunrise (because the sunrise is the highlight here) is incredible. I visit Nemrut on April 2021 and there was still snow on the top because of the late winter. In order to reach the top you must take a minibus from the restaurant near the mountain or you can drive right to the start of the hike. Then again you must walk some 500 meters to reach the tumulus (large, mountain-like, tomb) on the top. Please be aware than is cold (sometimes extremely cold, because of the wind) in the morning. So dress well. Very, very well. Even in April, I was wearing 5 layers 😂❄️💨☀️🗻🏔 #nationalpark #urbanexplorer
