Although there are many subways and buses, it is still not very convenient to get to some places. For example, the Singapore Zoo is very remote and requires three subway transfers and then a bus. There are many shopping centers in Singapore where you can shop and eat, but the consumption is relatively high compared to domestic prices. A bottle of Coke at 7-11 costs nearly 20 RMB. It is recommended not to buy drinks, fruits, and other things at 7-11. You can find a local supermarket called Fair Price. Many scenic spots have direct drinking water, so you can bring a cup to fill water. Personally, I feel that the tourist attractions are not as orderly and experienced as in Hong Kong, and some places have poor experiences. Especially since all tickets for Singapore attractions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, it is recommended not to buy them in advance. Confirm your plan before booking. WeChat and Alipay are not as convenient as in China. Loose change and credit cards are essential. Many stores only accept cash or credit cards. You need to buy a subway card at 7-11 and can only recharge it with cash. We used up about 30 SGD in three days. Overall, Singapore is good. Merlion Park is grand, the zoo is also good and very large, Universal Studios is worth a visit, the National Museum, and the Luge are crowded. You have to queue up both up and down, and you can only queue at the time you booked and need to exchange tickets to play. It is recommended to queue up in advance to exchange tickets. The management there is quite chaotic, with no dedicated personnel managing it. The Ferris wheel is also good, the largest cabin I've seen, the largest in Asia. You can book a whole cabin for a family during the day, but at night you have to share. The botanical garden and flower dome at Marina Bay Sands are not recommended for children, as there is not much to see, and the transportation is inconvenient, and the tickets are expensive. There are many eateries on the basement floors, including McDonald's, KFC, Mr. Coconut, Korean cuisine, etc. On the way back, when you arrive at Singapore Airport, you can first check in your boarding pass. After that, do not go through customs. There is a shopping center outside with all the check-in places, including the big waterfall, various food and beverages, and souvenirs.
