Explore an Old Place with Excitement

Botanical Garden is nothing new to locals, but surprisingly many locals have not been there or long never visit to the place. Locals tends to have this idea that “Singapore is a boring country” and they prefer travel to overseas, but in actual facts they don’t really know that Singapore has many beautiful places as well. I used to take train to Botanical Garden for my weekend morning walk. The garden main entrance is next to train station exit. This is the part which I like the most in SG, you don’t need to own a car. Just tap on public transport system and you could travel to any where within the island easily. Botanical Garden has many hidden corners, which I slowly figure it out myself over the times. If you are not rushing for time, then be more adventurous, try to explore those hidden corners and you will be surprised. I like the tree top walk, sometimes when I feel tired, I will just lies on the “swing bed” and look into the sky. The bridge cross over the pond is also amazing, sometimes will see the otters hunting for food. Swan, tortoise, chickens and squirrel are very common to be found in the park. Many people also like to bring their pet to the park for a jog. If you are hungry, you can consider having a meal in the restaurants which could be found in the park, or there are many eateries opposite Bkt Timah main entrance.
