Located in the heart of Sentosa, the Capella Singapore is the first Capella hotel in the world. Together with the Raffles Hotel in the city center, it has become a top luxury representative of the Singapore hotel industry. I made a special trip to Sentosa and visited it. The hotel is located on a small hilltop, and the entrance is uphill. The entire hotel is divided into four parts: the old building, the new building, the suite building, and the villa (including the residential area). The old building (p2) does not have guest rooms and is a public area of the hotel. From the inside to the outside, it is the hotel's front desk + Chinese restaurant + banquet hall/conference room area. The four-corner seats in the front desk rest area (p8) are very interesting. The ceiling design of the main banquet hall (p4) is impressive, the set meal setting of the Chinese restaurant is reasonable, and there are still many guests even on weekdays. There are quite a few hanging paintings and artworks in the old building, and the selection of furniture and lighting is very particular, with a Nanyang style. The exterior wall of the new building (p1) is made up of red lines, connected to the old building (p3), and the basic room type of the hotel is inside. While protecting the old building, it also satisfies the artistry of ancient and modern travel. There is an open-air garden on the roof of the new building, and the hotel's gym and spa are in the corner of the B1 floor. The gym is not large but has a full set of Technogym. The small corridor leading to the spa is quite good-looking. The second floor of the new building is the hotel's bar, which is more exquisite. Going downstairs in the direction of the swimming pool will pass the hotel's western restaurant. The hotel has a total of three outdoor swimming pools, two swimming pools (p5) separated by a forest path, and a long swimming pool (p6) hidden in the forest. Following the forest path all the way down, you will pass the hotel's villa area and suite area one after another. At the end is the card-swiping door leading to Palawan Beach, which can go to the southernmost island of the Asian continent. From the perspective of the public area, the old building has a historical style, the new building is exquisitely designed, and the garden garden is properly revised. However, it doesn't seem to be worth such a high room price just from these, so I personally think that the essence of this hotel should be in the service, experience and room interior, and I hope to stay here one day.
