First Straits Club Experience

Straits Club privilege is included when you book a Suite or any Straits Club Room at Fullerton Hotel. Aside from personalized service, this will give you exclusive access to the hotel’s club lounge where you can enjoy afternoon tea and evening canapes & cocktails. The lounge is also where you can have your breakfast. I was a friend’s plus one and we enjoyed afternoon tea and evening cocktails & canapes on a weekday/night, when it wasn’t too busy. Ambiance of the lounge is classy - but not stuffy! When we visited, the wait staff are very attentive and always have a smile on their faces. During afternoon tea, I especially liked the Lemon Pound Cake, paired with capuccino and then, tea. I also appreciated that they allowed us to stay a bit longer because I got held up in a phone conference for work. At night, I had repeat servings of their cheese platter and Singapore Chilli Crab Pau with a couple of Singapore Slings. We didn’t have to eat dinner separately as we were so full from the canapes already! 😂 During this visit (month of April 2022), the lounge’s menu changes twice - based on what we saw after we scanned the necessary QR code (placed on each table in the lounge). Food and drinks are served but you can ask for replenishment. Albeit the higher price for the rooms with club lounge access, I think it’s definitely worth the price and the experience.
