2022 Birthday Staycation Part 1 of 4

I have been working here in Singapore for more than five years and was only able to finally experience Singapore’s only resort with beachfront just now. I went there by cab but the resort is accessible via the Sentosa Express (Beach Station), Sentosa Beach Shuttle or the Sentosa Intra-Island Bus. Check-in registration was fast but my assigned room was not available right away. To make up for it, I was given 1 free drink to consume while waiting for my room (I chose tequila sunrise!). I also received cookies & an apology note later in the afternoon. I was also given wrlcome fruits and a birthday cake. I was satisfied with my room which has a very nice view of the sea. The bath tub has handles and handheld shower which I appreciated. Toiletries include bath salt. A point for improvement is providing chromecast capacity for the room tv or an accessible hdmi port. This resort is great for all types of guests - from single travellers (like me) to a group of friends or families. There are a lot of areas to explore in the resort - especially in the swimming pool area. There is a gym, spa and children’s play room. Different restaurants and bars to choose from as well. I like that I can access the beach easily. I went out for an early morning walk and wandered quite far (past the bungee jumping area). On my walk back, the staff manning the kayaks asked me if I was a guest. I had to show my keycard. I think the hotel’s beachfront is exclusively for guests. There was also a bar with beanbags at the beachfront which I did not get to try… must’ve been great to catch the sunset from there. Breakfast was buffet - bountiful!!! So many options to choose from.
