Hidden Teahouse 1973 in Aljunied! 🫖

Chanced upon Teahouse 1973 at Blk 53 Sims Place, a cozy little teahouse just a short walk from Aljunied MRT! They do offer an extensive menu of Penang inspired dishes and western food to accompany your tea 😋 
I enjoyed the Penang Curry Chicken Nasi Lemak ($13.80), which carries just the right amount of creaminess and spice, pairing well with the fragrant coconut rice. You can also choose other proteins if curry chicken is not your cup of tea, such as the Sambal Lemongrass Pork Chop ($13.80). The pork chop was really tender but it was a little overseasoned to me. The portion is really generous - definitely filling and satisfying! Loving the generous shower of crackers that blanketed everything below. 
Soak in the ambience and relax with a pretty little pot of Peach & Passionfruit Tea! 🫖 The tea was light and refreshing with a fruity aftertaste, and you can ask for free water refills too. This pot is good for 2 pax ($5), or there’s also a smaller one at $3.80 if you’re alone. Alternatively, get a glass of Rose Latte ($5) if coffee entices you more.
