Yu Kee Group started in 1961 as a hawker pushcart stall in Nee Soon selling braised duck rice and thereafter expanded into a prominent chain in Singapore. With it's secret braised sauce recipe, coupled with their tender braised duck meats and signature chilli sauce (the iconic type that has kian bilis in them), Yu Kee has made a name for themselves in the hearts of Singaporeans. When we are at the stall, we usually order : - Kway Chap Set @ $5.50 A local fav which is served with a mix of sliced braised egg, pork belly, small intestines, pig skin, fish cake and my fav tau pok, and paired with smooth kway (flat white large noodles) in their signature hot bowl of fragrant broth (aka chap). Now do not forget to dip the meats in their kway chap chilli which adds the kick to the entire meal. Overall, everything comes together to give me a fulfilling meal. Thumbs up !
