Located on Muscat Street and North Bridge Road in Kampong Glam, Singapore, Sultan Mosque is one of the most important mosques in Singapore. By the beginning of the 20th century, Singapore had become an Islamic business, cultural and artistic center. Due to the rapid development of the Islamic community, the Sultan Mosque has quickly become too small. In 1924, the mosque was founded 100 years ago and approved a plan to build a new mosque. Completed in 1928. The old mosque is also in a state of disrepair. The Sultan Mosque has remained largely unchanged since its inception and was only repaired in the 1960s. On March 14, 1975, it was listed as a national monument in Singapore. Tickets: Free Opening Hours: Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday 10
