Visiting the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia.

The Bulgarian capital of Sofia is home to numerous Christian structures, most notably its churches. One standout is the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, written in Bulgarian as Патриаршеска катедрала „Свети Александър Невски“. Located at the end of a vast square, the building is so massive and striking that it can be easily spotted from almost anywhere. As you can probably tell from the photos, its golden domes really stand out. The cathedral is stunning from every angle; since the view changes depending on where you stand, it never got boring no matter how many times I walked around it. There was an admission fee to go inside. Please note that they only accept cash!
