Huanglong Scenic Area

Huanglong Scenic Area will implement peak season ticket prices starting from June 1! The main Huanglong scenic area will be fully open from June 1, 2024, with opening hours starting at 8:00 AM, and peak season ticket prices will be in effect (full price ticket 170 RMB per person, half price ticket 85 RMB per person). The scenic area's cableway will start operating at 8:00 AM, stop selling tickets at 4:30 PM, with the last ascent at 5:00 PM and the last descent at 5:30 PM. Please arrange your entry time reasonably. Travel tips: 1. Transportation: Self-driving: It is recommended to visit Jiuzhaigou on the first day and drive to Huanglong on the second day. By plane: Take a car or self-drive to the scenic area after flying directly to Huanglong Airport. 2. Recommended scenic route: Ascent: Scenic area bus to - uphill cableway - sightseeing car - calcified beach - Huanglong Ancient Temple - Five-Color Ponds (must-see attractions), Descent: Five-Color Ponds - Jie Xian Bridge - Zheng Yan Pool - Bonsai Pool - Washing Body Cave - Welcoming Guests Pool - Scenic Area Exit. Chengdu → Die Xi Hai Zi → Songpan Ancient City → Huanglong → Goukou (stay) Distance 450KM, altitude 1900M, driving time is about 7 hours
