Wine tasting in Stellenbosch 🍷

If you are ever in the Western Cape, South Africa, a must visit destination is Stellenbosch. Known for its historical buildings, culture and beautiful wine estates, Stellenbosch is a beautiful town with vineyards, art galleries and museums that each have a story to tell. I went to a few Wine Farms over the weekend and pictured above are 2 of my favorite ones, ‘namely ‘Hidden Valley Wines’ and ‘Stellenrust Wines.’ To get there from Cape Town you can take an Uber for 45mins. There are plenty of Ubers around in the area so moving around is not too difficult. I also suggest using Uber as drinking and driving is not an option. There are beautiful vineyards, museums, art galleries and historical buildings throughout the town. Hotels - there are many hotels in Stellenbosch, some located on the wine estates which makes for convenient wine tasting adventures. Food & Restaurants - there are restaurants on almost every street serving a variety of cuisines. The wine farms have their own restaurants attached. Shopping - plenty of shops and souvenir stores. A well known mall for shopping is Eikestad in the center of Stellenbosch. #createwithtrip
