Metro Manila's is known for a lot of things - but one is missing from its many 'descriptors' - a good Zoo. Sure, there are the Manila (Public) and Malabon (Private) Zoos but none can be called substantial. Thus, a somewhat 3 hour drive to Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority - or plainly Subic - will usher anyone into the Zoobic Safari. The best animal zoo in the Philippines, for now. This far.
